Mission
I feel it as my mission to create fully natural items. From the clothes that we wear to what we use in the kitchen to wash dishes or pick up a hot pot.
Plastic fibers in clothes break during washing and flush into the water, they do not break down. I feel the calling to inform people about this subject and to create products that are compostable and harmless for our beautiful earth. Together we can protect her the best we can.
About me
I am Iris Salvinia, I create garments from scratch, starting from the sheep, cleaning, spinning, colouring with plants and then knitting or weaving a beautiful piece.
European wool became mostly a waste product.
Other than wool I use natural fibers like alpaca, cotton, linen and silk. I do not use any synthetic fibers or chemical treatments like superwash.
I would love wool to make a comeback and reclaim the fiber industry.
